WATERCOLOUR WORKSHOPS at LOVE DOVE STUDIO
For 2020, we had intended to run workshops every Wednesday afternoon and evening, depending on demand. Sadly, the intervention of the Global Pandemic has put paid to such considerations for now and for the foreseeable future. Unable to run the workshops that make the place economically viable, we are closing our gallery and studio and will be working from home.

Workshops are integral to what we do at Love Dove Studio. Gill does workshops in Wreath-making and Floral Design under the title of 'How To Do The Flowers' and you can see examples of her work at Love Dove Cottage, while my workshops have the title, 'Creative Journaling In Watercolour'. Based on my own journaling experience, I aim to guide those who wish to create their own journals - or simply learn about painting in watercolour - by showing some watercolour techniques and inspiration which can help to that end.
Creative Journaling In Watercolour
The Art Workshops incorporate tuition in working with watercolour and ink or crayon, each workshop will focus on exploring various ways to approach creative journaling, with the emphasis on each student's unique style. Other media (e.g. oils and acrylics) will be covered if there is a demand.
Generally the workshops are a series of introductory sessions, each of which will have its own dynamic, but additional sessions will provide practise and experience. You are welcome to come to one or more as you wish. Additionally groups of workshops will be scheduled to provide more in depth tuition on different aspects of the creative process. e.g. a series of 4 workshops will focus on
